It could for example be professional work tools such as compressors and generators, tanks and containers holding various fluids, or units/cassettes containing for example window frames, plates etc. Possibilities that would never be available today with only one and the same traditional trailer.
A better working environment provides an improved safety when loading and off-loading
As the Smartload trailer is located on the ground, it may be loaded and off-loaded at a height of only 19 centimeters equivalent to the normal step of a staircase. This will significantly reduce the risk that the trailer either tips or overturns during the process of loading or off-loading. At the same time, lifting of for instance heavy tools or equipment may be carried-out by one person without the risk of physical overload of that person’s back or knees. This may avoid many work-related accidents and ensure the compliance of health- and safety regulations.
